We have been so lucky to have photographed family members and friends of these two and were over the moon when asked to photography Robyn and Evan's Toronto wedding as well. It was so wonderful to walk into a room of so many familiar faces, embraces and warmth. Robyn and Evan had us laughing all day and Robyn's performance and Evan's speech were some of the best we have seen all year. Congratulations to a fabulous wedding filled love, family and friends.
We had the opportunity to photograph in a library which was super cool as it's not the norm in terms of wedding photo locations. Toronto wedding photographers have access to so many cool spots for photos - whether it be interesting texture, backgrounds or just cool architecture. This library had a lot of beautiful light and the books added such an interesting background to this beautiful couple.
One of the most touching moments was visiting Robyn's grandmother in her home before heading to the ceremony. A beautiful moment captured forever. There is something about hands that we just love... something about age and wisdom, combined with youth and a beginning... having Robyn hold her grandmother's hands was such a beautiful moment for us.
This wedding was a fully vegan affair. The food was incredible and created by Ace. Every plate was empty by the time dancing started.
