A Flawless Affair at the RCYC

Oh My Goodness! Where do we begin ... We were so absolutely excited when Philip and David asked us to be the ones to photograph their wedding at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club. We had the pleasure of capturing their engagement shoot and we knew from the moment we started, that Philip and David are madly in love and oh, so absolutely perfect for one another. Willing to be a little silly, and never being afraid to laugh and enjoy one another, we absolutely ADORE how these photos turned out. Take a look at the magic that was their stellar waterfront wedding.

After getting ready at the Hilton Toronto Hotel, we headed down to the dock to take the boat to the RCYC. Being Toronto wedding photographers, we know how hot a Toronto summer can be... lucky for us, it could not have been a more beautiful day - big fluffy clouds, blue sky and not too hot!

The ceremony took place directly on the water. We loved that the wedding party and couple started the walk down the aisle from the boat - it allowed for the incredible Toronto cityscape as background for their wedding photographs. The bagpiper, Alan Camley, was phenomenal and added such beauty to the ceremony.

Family photos are so important to every wedding - it's a historical record of your closest family and friends. We love the emotion and joy that Philip and David's family showed in these photos. This wedding was filled with 100% happiness.

Where to begin with the decor - um...wow! The RCYC hall makes you feel as if you are in a ship. Windows high above, curved ceilings - it's super cool! The decor by Fete Floral & Events was beautiful, elegant and just perfect for this venue. AND THE CAKE by Artsy Baker!!!! Check out the suitcases and rainbow interior - so creative!
