If you are the type of person who enjoys a nice glass of wine and a rolling vineyard behind you, odds are you know your way around Niagara and the famous Niagara weddings. But, did you know our friends Adamo in Hockley Valley have a wonderful, upscale winery too, complete with gourmet kitchen and rich, wonderful wine! Adamo Estate Winery makes for a lovely, rustic wedding venue with stunning backdrops for wedding photography.
The bride and groom contacted us during the COVID situation and were bent on getting married, no matter what, ready to follow whatever restrictions were imposed – you can't stop love, folks! Well, as good luck would have it, by the time the wedding date rolled around, the province opened up and they were able to have their closest family and friends join them for a good old winery wedding in Ontario.
This wedding booked during the lockdown and you could feel the excitement when restrictions for us as Toronto wedding photographers were lifted.
The church ceremony at St. Edward The Confessor was taking social distancing measures, which, oddly enough, worked in our favour, as there we less people and obstacles in our way to shoot around. Afterwards, we did all the family formals outside by the willow tree where the light was great.
Once we arrived at the winery for wedding, Adamo let us have the run of the vineyard and we got all the wonderful shots at golden hour, just before the first dance and dinner.
