We were really excited for the wedding of Jhenn and Michael at Casa Loma in Toronto. As the pandemic of 2020 put everyone's wedding plans on hold, including us as Toronto Wedding Photographers, we still have wonderful people like Michael and Jhenn who put their foot down and didn't let COVID-19 get in the way of their love.
For many deciding to continue with wedding plans this year, easing restrictions and moving into stage 3 has allowed larger wedding plans to continue. We are now allowed 50 guests indoors and 100 guests outdoors and receptions are allowed to continue as well - we are jumping for joy!
Jhenn & Michael opted for an intimate wedding with their closest family at The DoubleTree (City Hall's temporary ceremony venue). Jhenn wore a beautiful dress from Avenue 22 and flowers by Pacific Florist.
After rings were exchanged, we headed to a shockingly near-empty castle, in the city. Being wedding photographers in Toronto, we have had the pleasure of photographing at Casa Loma many times. Casa Loma is a stunning wedding venue that can accommodate wedding ceremonies, receptions and photo permits. Usually the castle is bustling with many tourists and guests. This time though, the castle was mostly empty allowing us to explore the grounds and main floor almost by ourselves. At best guess, there was maybe 20 people roaming the castle, so, we had an afternoon to ourselves, shooting and exploring all the nooks and crannies of Casa Loma, enjoying the splendor of a warm Toronto summer Saturday (that fountain looked like the perfect place for a swim!)
Because Jhenn and Michael chose a small scale wedding, we had the opportunity to photograph everyone, capturing the love and joy surrounding the two newlyweds.

We finished off with a grand wide shot of our bride and groom in front of the castle and with that, we wished Jhenn and Michael congratulations and a wonderful rest of the day celebrating their love; a beautiful heartfelt day celebrating the union of two beautiful people. Love Wins Again!
