Wedding Photography in the underwater world of Ripley's Aquarium in Toronto

Winter can be a tough time to find indoor locations for photography in Toronto. One way is to think completely outside of the box, and pick something 100% unique. That's exactly what Mali & Frank did when they chose the über cool Ripley's Aquarium for their wedding photography - what a creative wedding idea! They were married on the last day of February, the 29th – yes, that one date, that only comes once every four years! The big question: will they only celebrate their anniversary once every four years?

As Toronto wedding photographers, we are always in search for new and cool spaces. We have been to many venues, parks, museums, hotels and wedding venues, but never have we had the opportunity to shoot amongst all the amazing sea creatures, fish and sharks. It felt like we were all transported to another world.

Now, you might be wondering, "Where were all the tourists and did we have the aquarium all to ourselves?" The answer; "There were a TON of people visiting the fish that day, but we did our best, to frame and shoot around the tourists so that we could capture the fabulous sea photos below."

Following the photoshoot, we headed to the ceremony and reception venue, Cantina Mercatto. This is a fabulous intimate venue with a warm and cozy atmosphere. We loved every minute of Mali and Frank's wedding. It was the perfect way to celebrate their love.
